Cozumel Mexico, So Many Fun Things to Do and See
Jan 30th

Located at 12 miles away from the Yucatan Peninsula’s shores, Cozumel is the largest Mexican island, measuring 28 miles long and 10 miles wide.
The climate on the island is subtropical, which makes it perfect all year-round. The marvelous beaches and the clearness of the azure Caribbean ocean make it a dream place for fun and relaxation. What makes Cozumel special is the combination between old and new, between tradition and innovation, with both authentic elements and services for every taste.
The natives are Mayan descendents, an advanced civilization of farmers, fisherman and warriors who left their print upon the following generations. Today you can admire the ruins of San Gervacio, a site that used to be a sacred place for Mayan women who worshiped the goddess of fertility Ixchel. In its form today, the site is a park dedicated to the Mayan culture in order to allow others to find out more about it.
If you plan to visit Cozumel, you will have a great time there. The multitude of attractions that the place has to offer, like water sports, the wild lagoons that can be found in the center of the island, magnificent beaches and exotic locale, festivals, Maya ruins, restaurants, shops and much more will make a trip to Cozumel hard to forget.
Being an island, the place is surrounded by water and this makes it a perfect vacation for water sports lovers, because here they will have the chance to dive, deep-sea fish, snorkel, kayak and much more. If you love wilderness, then you will definitely enjoy visiting the Chankanaab National Park and the Punta Sur Ecological Reserve.
Cozumel is also the perfect place for a honeymoon, because of the marvelous sunsets that can be watched sitting on the warm beach sand, the walks under the moonlight on secluded beaches, the romantic dinners at the best restaurants or the swims in the clear azure water during day or night.
The main attractions in Cozumel are:
